Today we are viewing one of our current debilitated sea turtles.   Hugue, a sub-adult female Loggerhead sea turtle, arrived underweight, lethargic, and with heavy amount of epibiota.  Epibiota is just a fancy name for all of the different creatures that can live on the back of the turtle.  There have been over 80 different creatures using the sea turtle as a home!

Hugue is an adoptable turtle, a way to support her rehabilitation (click on the the link for more information).  Hugue is doing well and is a potential candidate for future release!
