2012-2013  AmeriCorps Members

AmeriCorps members are vital to the work we do here at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. We offer a variety of service opportunities throughout the year: Education, Husbandry and Research (Sea Turtle Patrol).  Not only will you have a great experience, but you’ll have lots of FUN too!  If you are interested in becoming a AmeriCorps GSTC member, available service opportunities are listed below:

The following positions are currently accepting applications:

Diamondback Terrapin / Husbandry Member (1 position available): The diamondback terrapin member is a unique position in that it incorporates both husbandry and field aspects. The diamondback terrapin(DBT) member will be responsible for participating in all aspects of the diamondback terrapin conservation program including daily monitoring of the causeway during May through July, artificial nest mounds, data collection, inventory and maintenance of the DBT kits, and educating the public.  For a full position description please click here.
