Now you can “adopt-a-sea turtle,” and for only $50, you can contribute to that turtle’s rehabilitation. If that turtle is released and given a satellite transmitter, you will be able to track the turtle online and know that you helped to make him/her healthy enough to go back home! Or, you can adopt-a-sea turtle that has already been release, helping to pay for the research we are conducting so we can help sea turtles all over the world!

The Georgia Sea Turtle Center on Jekyll Island is an operating department of the Jekyll Island Authority and receives financial contributions through the Jekyll Island Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All proceeds from Adoptions help to offset operation costs, including the rehabilitation of our patients at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center.
