Would you like to be the proud parent of an ‘adopted’ sea turtle?  With your $50 donation, you can contribute funding to support Georgia Sea Turtle Center patients! Choose a current patient or released patient with a satellite transmitter and follow their journey from hospital to sea.  The donation helps offset operating costs such as medication and food for in-house patients as well as supports research we are conducting to help sea turtles all over the world!

OPTION 1: Current Patients
- Personalized Certificate of Adoption
- A letter from your turtle
- 5×7 photo of your turtle
- Adoptive parent’s name listed on their turtle’s web page
- Exclusive access to their sea turtle’s web page featuring:
- Twice- monthly updates of your adopted sea turtle’s rehabilitation progress
- Recent photo(s) of your adopted sea turtle
- Notice of potential release date as the information becomes available. (Release dates are subject to change without notice)

- Website link to adopted sea turtle’s tracking information (if available)

OPTION 2: Successfully Released Patients with a Satellite Transmitter
- Personalized Certificate of Adoption
- A letter from your turtle
- 5×7 photo of your turtle
- Adoptive parent’s name listed on their turtle’s web page
- Exclusive access to their sea turtle’s web page featuring photos and information from their rehabilitation progress
- Website link to adopted sea turtle’s tracking information (if available)

For current adoptable patients, please visit our ONLINE STORE for photos and descriptions of eligible turtles. You can process your adoption through the online store or download the Adopt-a-Sea Turtle Form and mail/fax it in with your payment information.

The Georgia Sea Turtle Center is an operating department of the Jekyll Island - State Park Authority; donated funds will be used for general operations of the Georgia Sea Turtle Center.  If the donation is at least $500, it will be processed through the Jekyll Island Foundation, a public 501(c)3 under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. EIN #58-2583249. All proceeds from Adoptions help to offset operation costs, including the rehabilitation of our patients at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center.
