Group Tours

The Georgia Sea Turtle Center requires reservations for groups of 10 people or more. With a reservation, we offer your group a guided tour of the museum and sea turtle pavilion with a trained educator. Make your reservation now for this in-depth look at a sea turtles! We require 2 weeks advanced notice for reservations, so please plan your trip accordingly.
Guided Tour *
With an advanced reservation, the GSTC offers your group of 10 or more a guided facilities tour. The group will have the opportunity to explore the exhibit gallery (sea turtle museum) and venture into our hospital to ‘Meet the Patients,’ an auditory introduction to the sea turtles in our hospital. An educator will be present to lead the group and answer questions for the duration of your visit. This tour lasts approximately 45 minutes – 1 hour.
*This program is ideal for groups with time constraints!
- Children (4-12 years) $8
- Seniors (65 and over) $9
- Adults (13 and over) $10
Presentation Program
This option incorporates a Guided Tour and a 30-40 minute program of your choice. The group will then have the opportunity to explore the exhibit gallery (sea turtle museum) at their leisure. An educator will be present to lead the group and answer questions for the duration of your visit. This tour is approximately 90 minutes in length. Behind the Scenes Tours
Ever wonder what it feels like to be on the other side of the Treatment Window? Wish YOU could get a closer look at the patients? You’re in luck! The Georgia Sea Turtle Center is pleased to offer Behind-the-Scenes Tours!
Guided by a member of our Education staff, guests will visit food preparation areas, animal holding areas, the Treatment Room, Radiology and Surgical Suite.
Tours are offered on a first come first served basis, and ADVANCED RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Tour request must be received at least 48 hours in advance. Group size is limited to 10 guests and nearly always sell out days in advance.
Cost: Prices include general admission to the Center
- $20 Adults (13 & up)
- $15 Children (Children must be at least 10 years of age)
- Time: 3:00pm**
**Behind the Scenes tours are offered daily at 3pm. However tours may be canceled due to veterinary procedures or special events. Be sure to reserve your spot early!
