Sea Turtles in the Classroom

The Georgia Sea Turtle Center Outreach Staff brings learning about sea turtles and their marine environment to life for your group with specimens, interactive activities such as role playing and games!

Teachers can choose from a list of programs and all programs are correlated to the Georgia Performance Standards.

Details:

  • Fees:$125 for the initial program (~30 students)
  • $40 for each additional presentation of the same program on the same day
  • Travel fees* apply to locations outside of a 25 mile radius
  • 0-25 miles = No charge
  • 26-50 miles = $1 per mile
  • 0ver 50 miles away: To account for time away from the Center, we ask that you pay for the Educator’s travel time at $50 per hour.

*Please note that all travel fees are subject to change due to increasing gas prices and are assessed on an individual basis.
