Hey, Amy-- would you prefer coated lead weights to limit the contact Griffin would have with the lead? If so, should these approximate colors found in nature, as opposed to Day-Glo pink and green? (That is, are the weights just for rehab or will he need them in the wild?)

Hope to visit you soon!

Peggy, I noted that you mention sales of 'decorative art and pottery'. I have shown my sea turtle themed pottery at the Goodyear Cottage (the month the Turtle Center opened) and have sold my sea turtle themed pieces at the Jekyll Welcome Center and some of those pieces made it to the Turtle Center. I would again like to make my work available to be sold at the Turtle Center. My work is coastal themed and most of the pieces incorporate a sea turtle. I was just contacted by a vendor in South Carolina to provide my work to be sold in conjunction with the South Carolina Aquarium to benefit their turtle rescue program. You may have seen my dip bowls w/ a spreader held by a sea turtle or one of my turtle mugs, bowls or platters. Hope to hear from you soon. Doug
