Jeannie Miller
Jeannie graduated from Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Biology. She completed two terms as an AmeriCorps Member and has served as a Corporation for National and Community Service peer reviewer since 2005. She managed nesting programs in several states throughout the U.S. and conducted research for several months in Costa Rica prior to coming to the GSTC. While at the GSTC she served as a rehabilitation technician before developing the GSTC AmeriCorps program. She is currently responsible for the management and administration of the AmeriCorps program. She also is continuing to conduct her ongoing research project on the effects of fire ants on loggerhead sea turtles, which was recently published in the Journal of Herpetology, as well as working to obtain her veterinary technician license.
